Problem with Recovery Arnova 10C G3 [Spanish]

Haber si me podéis hechar una mano ;) , llevo más de un año con la tablet brickeada intente entrar en recovery para pegarle un cambio de Rom pero no me deja, contacte con el Sat para confirmar el patrón de los botones y aun así estoy como estaba, también intente hacerle recovery x medio del adb pero no me la reconoce el PC ya no se que más hacer ...

I just bought this Archos 70b titanium and tried a few games for the kids, and one (minigore 2) they had on a previous crappy IJOY 7" won't install on the Archos. Do you know a workaround ? Android vers. is 4.1.1

[Q] Can't reformat my G9
I have an Archos 80 G9 tablet.
It has an unlock pattern I forgot so I tried to reformat it through the Recovery screen.
Now, when I click "Reformat device..." It gets to a part it says "USB connection: press ok to disconnect"
Now, I have NO idea what that means. I just click ok. Then it says update failed (1)
When I turn it off and then on again it turns on straight to Recovery mode.
What do I do??? I have no idea and I'm afraid I killed it...
Can someone tell me how to fix that and reformat the tablet to factory defaults? Like when you just buy it?

Archos 80 Cobalt Touch Screen Fix
Removing the back cover and fixing an unresponsive touch screen.
My daughter decided to drop her 80 Cobalt leaving the screen unresponsive but not broken.
After re-flashing the firmware and ruling out a software issue, I decided to open the case and have a look inside. With a bit of playing about I discovered the matt plastic back panel can easily be unclipped from the shiny plastic surround.
First remove the single tiny crosshead screw from under the sdcard flap. Then unclip the panel using strong fingernails or a thin plastic tool. Work from the speaker end and hinge it up at the camera end as there are four tabs there that locate under the curved shiny plastic part.
Inside there are two rectangles of plastic sticky tape in the same place, under one of those is the touch screen ribbon. I removed the plastic tape and found the ribbon was unseated, I just pushed it back into the connector and replaced the plastic tape, which appears to be the only thing holding it in place. The touch screen sprang back into life.
Replace the back cover and small screw. Job done.
It should only take a few minutes to repair.

[Q] Archos 101b Platinum rooting
Greetings, I have a Archos 101b platinum tablet running kitkat and I have been searching around the internet but I just can't seem to find anything about rooting for my tablet.
I would really love to root it and make it possible for apps/games being installed on the SDcard and if possible get an adblock on it. but to do such things I seem to need root access but the amount of information on how to do it for this tablet is so minimal(None) it's driving me crazy.
If anybody is able to help me with this I would really appreciate it.

Archos 50c Oxygen - Android 4.4.2 KitKat update Download Link
Hi guys,
Starting from today, Archos is deploying the KitKat update for the 50c Oxygen. If you don't have the opportunity to download the update from the smartphone or don't want to wait for your turn to get it via OTA, here is a direct link for the KK ROM:

Just copy the file to the flash storage on your 50c and the update process will start automatically. I recommend to backup all your data first though. As I don't have a 50c Oxygen myself, I can't test the file, but it comes directly from Archos, so I don't expect any problems actually.

[Q] Installing X-posed on Archos 80G9 (Unofficial CM10.2): problem mounting /System

I've installed CM10.2 (last update) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2499796) on my Archos 80G9. It also runs the SDE firmware from Archos (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1653566). So far, so good, it runs quite nicely, all things concerned. Now I'm trying to install X-posed Framework, but this won't work. When I try, I get an error that tells me /system can't be mounted. (Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ryaryqkie0...40-16.png?dl=0 )
When I take a look is ES3 if the folder is mounted, it looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4kwv0ja16q...49-21.png?dl=0 . I can't tick the other boxes here, I get the message "sorry, operation failed" when I try.
I've already tried to use the "mount -o remount,rw /" command, to no avail...
I have no idea how I have to fix this problem and if it's even fixable.

I have just inherited a tablet ( The Archos 70 cobalt), what gen is this tablet exactly? The firmware is so damn buggy, apps are crashing/closing and the system feels sluggish. Memory seems to be fine but i think the fw is to blame, are there any custom roms for this tablet? Can it be rooted?

Archos 70b Cobalt cross flashing?
So Archos' habit of reusing model numbers is a pain, but I've just got two Archos 70b Cobalt for $45 each new. I've given my parents it to give me for Christmas (they're always asking for ideas), anyway so this is the link:

Now, doing research they also do a Archos 70c Cobalt, and to me the specs look the same, but the tablets look slightly different cosmetically, and I think there could be things like wifi differences:

Basically the 70b runs 4.2 JB, the 70c runs 4.4 KK, would a cross flash work? If it doesn't will it be recoverable. I can't find firmware for either on the Archos site though.

[Q] Archos 101g9 - no export partition in sde, what happened?
Long story short - I was about to install the rcommended CM10.2 over rooted stock 4.0.*+SDE, but failed. :eek:
1) I followed the instruction with SDE. There is no menu item "export partion". None at all.
Tried to uninstall SDE, install clean stock 4.0.4beta (highest official ROM for me - want to be able to downgrade to 3.*), installed SDE - no "export partition". All other like remove kernel, flash kernel are here (so SDE is Ok), but not partition one. Weird.
2) Tried to install ADB (I do use it with my huawei phone and know what it is) - no luck.
Under 4.0.4beta if I just connect tablet, I've got an unknown device with vid_0e79&pid_1528 (looks like MTP) - my windows 7 x64 says it's unknown device (!!). If I turn "USB debugging" on, then windows suddenly connect MTP drive, but no signs of ADB interface in the device manager.
Looked with USBDeview-64bit - there is no USB devices attached with pid 1509 either.
I cannot honestly say what I think about Archos without violating forum rules... But may be anybody can help me?
P.S. My child pulled micro usb connector with force while the device was charging.
It is working, although with some cables and not others - charging, file transfer in "usb debugging" mode.
Can it be so that something is not right with the usb chip inside the tablet?

Hi All,
I'm new to the forum(what a great please btw) and am looking for help on how to flash/root the 101b Neon, I had a 101 Neon which I managed to root with VROOT, however it had a power issue(no charge) so returned it for a 101b, which runs KitKat(required for some of the apps I want|)
However for the life of me I can't root it, I've tired VROOT, KINGROOT, a couple of chinese apps to root it, all fail(reboots, screen goes grey, tried it a few times to no avail) . I also want to flash the CWM (tried it with Arctools) but nothing. I've found a few posts where people have recommened downgrading to 4.2, however I need 4.4 for several reasons....(remoteplay app port on XDA-developers being one!)
Really looking for some help as I'm totally lost, I know it has a RK 3188T CPU similar to the 101 XS and apparently runs a " pure Android 4.4 KitKat operating system without any skins or overlays."

[Q] archos 64 xenon stuck on boot logo
hi guys ,
i have a problem, i decided to root my archos 64 xenon.
it worked great and was easy, but i was a little too greedy about uninstalling system apps.
now it wont boot up. it is stuck on boot logo and i cant find the original rom , not even a custom rom.
do you guys have any answer to my problem? is it possible to get a backup file from one of you and flash it on my device, so that i can use it again?:(

Archos 80b Platinum bootloop
Hi I kinda have a problem with my tablet it keeps booting in to the Android system recovery and when I try to apply a firmware from the Archos site that I put in the external storage the installation keeps aborting half way and I have no idea what to do any more so can anybody help me here on how to get android to work again because so far nothing is working for me.
Really desperate so please any tips that could help are really appreciated!
